cscharlie 107
A reciever block that is used WITH the tang that gives correct stock alignment. I don't know why Ace never changed theirs so it no longer makes the stock angle upwards. Make it Beryl rail friendly. A way to mount the rear end of a beryl stlye rail without using the tang. Like attaching a mountt to the rear truinion, or to a cut the tang reciever type block with a couple mounting holes near the top, above the point the hing attaches..... Maybe hinging a dust railed dust cover to the rear site block....
gkcf 8
My ace block doesn't make the stock angle upward... Hell, now that I look at it, it angles down even. Edited May 22, 2009 by gkcf
cscharlie 107
I t's possable they could have changed it and I just haven't heard yet... I was talking upward as you look from the front of the stock back toward the butt end. Is the Ace block you have on a Saiga or another type AK? Is it the universal model that is used with the tang? How recent was it made?
cscharlie 107
Got another one. How bout a clamp on cheek rest to work on the Ace stock that's not made out of plastic to week to hold up to real use? Maybe make it with some height adjustment.
