You need to use US parts to do the conversion keeping the foreign parts to ten or less of a list. Those seeking the easiest conversion do the three fire control parts and the buttstock along with a US made grip. You can buy a TAPCO FCG for $33 at DPH Arms. They have a nice grip for about $14 as I recall. It is slightly larger than Century Arms small grip found on WASR-10 AK's. The synthetic buttstock can be found at Kvar including the small grip for $50. The buttstock alone can be found at Guns and Stuff for $40. Or you can choose a more elaborate conversion using ACE parts and Ultimak rails on the front end like I did. The world is your oyster depending on cash and preference. Have at it and enjoy.
