I decide to go down to one of our local gun stores that has always treated me right and pick up a new cleaning jag for one of my rifles. As soon as I walk in the door, I see the owner standing there. We make eye contact, both refusing to budge or look away and show any signs of weakness . The owner then gives me this "I own you look" and starts to laugh . I continue to stare and refuse to submit . I feel as powerful as a Spartan Warrior, almost like I am invincible and there is nothing in this store but a cleaning jag that I need. I take two steps in while still holding my stare. I have the look of a Great White Shark staring at a poor hapless seal. I've got his number now and he knows it. I'm almost there and then he comes from behind the counter with this....GSG-5 I melt like putty in his hands and I think I hear the words "Resistance is Futile" coming from his mouth in the fog. I'm such a sucker....He had me at hello.. Already took it to the range and 500 rounds later, not one hiccup. Looks like this one will be fun to own. I had it on the counter and they where just about to add it to my form then I started thinking I don't need this I have a nice 10/22 so I backed out on buying it. Now I kick myself for not buying it. I was at a National Park Range shooting with a group in SC recently and three different folks came up with those. They all functioned well and I shot one. It is an interesting little .22. PinkFloyd 63 Posted June 12, 2009 Report Share Posted June 12, 2009 Lol I'm getting the paperwork to SBR mine... I have a PK that I'ma put a Vert Foregrip and a folding stock on.
