Bounce 0
breaking down 4 saigas for conversion, I pulled the gas tubes off of two new .223s, one old .223, and one very old 7.62x39 saiga...(bought when they were 239$). what's come up missing apparently after bead blasting is one of the gas tubes is missing that washer type spring that fits on the gastube? question is...maybe it didn't come on one of the older versions? does anyone think this could be the case? thanks.. IndyArms 10,186
Some did... some didnt... it was a pick and choose deal for a long time... hell, I think a .223 could have the forearm mounted almost 4 different ways! one with a screw in the receiver, one with the screw in the sling lug... one held in place by the gas tube, even! all kinds of different configurations! No worries. as long as it goes back together and fits... its good... It is an AK after all!
