SBS Only Saiga-12 Thread

Recommended Posts

I have a hankering to finally SBS my S12 and have spent the last several days searching out SBS pics, I thought for the benifit of those who follow that consolidating them together in to a single thread, might be helpful since we are the Saiga community!

Perhaps we could get a sticky if this gathers some steam.

Only 2ea ever built.

Tony

Honestly, why was there only 2 built? Just not that much of a call for them or were the 2 for you? Do they run normally or picky? I dont think I'd mind one but I have not had a chance to fire my 8" yet....-2" makes that big of a differance huh?

According to my girl friend

Anyone know if the 8 inch gas system is in the same place as the 10? Are the ports the same? I was thinking of going with the 8 but that hand guard is tiny so I was going to try to fit another one.

The wood was on it when I got it from Tony. All I did was put a few coats of linsead oil on it. I was told the wood work was by "BattlerifleG3"

Banshee i gotta tell you, the wood on your SBS really makes it stand out, its high on my list of favorite shotguns on this forum. Simple, to the point, yet completly over the top.

Both were made for an executive bodyguard company. They run reliably, but only on high-power stuff.

The 8" is tough to make run correctly. The 6" is really impossible.
