I have never shot it but I have several friends who do. I also happen to know the group that runs the shotgun match. Most of the time the pistol match can be shot with any semi auto, but I think you get credit for shooting a "major" power factor gun like a .45 auto. The shotgun match is usually a derivative of the pistol match....usually the same targets with different stage procedure. I believe buckshot can be used. I know one year to screw the Saiga they had you start by loading your gun from loose ammo in a drawer. Round counts are usually in the 30 to 40 range. Hope this helps.

I just wish that they had more stuff listed on the site so that I'd know how to prepare.... I can't find anything but subgun KnobCreek matches on YouTube... If the Pistol and Shotgun stages are the same as the Subgun I should be fine (not that I'm gonna win, but should be prepared). The Spring 09 setup was hitting targets downrange through a window, then walking to the next window while reloading.
