Vern 0 Posted December 14, 2003 Report Share Posted December 14, 2003 This may be a stupid question, but I am a duck hunter, and I am tired of over priced simi auto shotguns that jam under the slightest of adverse conditions. I have heard a lot about the reliability of the Saiga shot gun. I will have to check the hunting regs of course, but if it is legal would you recomend the Saiga 12 as a "duck gun". I know it wasn't designed as a hunting gun, but neither was the AK 47, and I see a lot of these being used for deer. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
duffman 1 Posted December 14, 2003 Report Share Posted December 14, 2003 Took mine out grouse hunting a couple times, blocked the mag so it could only hold 2 rounds in it plus 1 in the pipe. Never did get to shoot at any birds, can't shoot whats not there. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
