I thought you folks might dig my tribute to all our fine soldiers this country has had. The "Chow Hound" was a B-17 lost in WW2 with all crewmen aboard. The nose art that was recovered from the wreck is now in the USS Intrepid museum,and other fragments are in an Arizona museum. I have started painting replicas of nose art from bombers lost to combat in WW2. I usually paint them on old car hoods and give them a weathered effect.

Yes, I do use a brush, and acrylic paint. This is another one I painted on the hood of a VW Kharman Ghia. This is not an authentic WW2 piece, but one that I made up. I'll try to dig up some other photos.

Very cool idea and excellent execution from what you have shown so far.
