white049 0
Im a little confused. I bought my Saiga 10 years ago and it came with a factory 30 round mag as well as 2 x 5 round mags and was perfectly legal. Then Recently I purchased the Tapco T6 BS stock set (pistol grip, adjustable stock, and pistol grip screw. The sale rep made a comment that I need a surefire mag to make it compliant. Then he said since my 7.62 came with a 30 round mag Im fine? So which is it? Does 922 only apply if you change the trigger assembly? I will post pictures. Ive rigged an american made weaver rail on the hand guard and am using an american made foregrip I think. As well as an American made sling. Does that help? I did purchase a PorMag which I believe is American made. So what do you think? Is the weapon grandfathered in since i bought it when it was legal to own high capcity mags? PS my gun is unconverted and always has been....

cma g21 3
Despite what some people think, 922r only applies to manufacture, not possession or sale. It applies to assembly (as defined by the BATFE), which differs from "manufacture."
