SovietGinger 16
As long as there are people with a mindset like Obama and these far-left democrats, we will always be under siege. cscharlie 107
The short answer: When there is no more sin. Things will be looking good for a while at some point as the ruler of the world will seem to have solved the worlds major problems. It will be temp. Then it will get worse than ever before. After a period of time someone inparticular will return with His armies that are beyond number, open up a can of whop ass and then set up His Kingdom. These problems will no longer be.

I think in 2010 a lot of shit already signed is going to be cut back quite a bit. Solved, no. If they pass 20 shit bills and 2 or 4 years later we knock down 19 of them, they won. I think we will be suffering for YEARS to come once we find out what was voted in by Congress. No one will really know until the situation arises. lakedweller 10
I hope 2010, people should see by them that the only chance we have is a new congress. A new congress with some brains can reverse most of Chairman Maobama's f**kups and halt the socialist train. If it does not stop in 2211 we fear we are cooked (I hope I am wrong). We must remember that Reagan was able to fix things after Carter (Worst President ever, but Obama is shooting by Carter). I don't see a Reagan on the horizon quite frankly. The Republican Party is afraid to back someone with BALLS. McCain was a joke if the ticket would have been reversed we would have come closer. Maybe Romney but the health care system in Mass scares me.... Only time will tell... I wish the rep from Minn, Bockman I think, should run she would kick some ass..... RangerM9 1
I think we will improve when we get some leaders who think and use facts and data as opposed to ideology and political promises to get things done......so when we have a viable 3rd party that represents the middle, away from either extreme.....bwahahahaha.....who the fuck am i kidding that will never happen in this country.....we're fucked.....just bouncing from right to left and back again until then..... doesn't matter who is in charge......its nothing but extremes lately. nicklebon 27
It will only get better when people stop looking for a handout from the government and realize they and no one else are responsible for their own well being and their "rights." All that would do is drive up inflation by reducing the buying power of a dollar. We would end up like Poland in the early 90s where things were commonly priced in the millions of zloty. The more of something there is the less it is worth. This is very basic economic theory and should be common sense.

hallboss 1
I think if this health care plan doesn't go through and the Conservatives make a stand in 2010 we have a good chance of turning things around, but it will be hard. However, if this health care goes through and/or there is no change in the house in 2010 the spending will continue. Will spell our demise? I doubt it, but our way of life with most likely change drastically. We will all face a more "involved Government" for sure. My opinion after listening to Rush, Mark and Sean it appears there is a light at the end of the tunnel seeing BO's approval ratings are dropping and more people are aligning with the Conservatives on the generic pole. Plus listening to the audios of these town hall meetings it looks like the people (some anyway) are getting fed up. Edited August 7, 2009 by hallboss
superA 289
"America" is already dead. It happened when we took over banks, appointed Czars and took over GM and Chrysler. The America that was, is dead. Not to say that it can't be resurrected. I think now it's just a matter of how bad it get's before we can get a chance to fix it. As it stands we have monkeys trying to work on a rocket ship. A lot of repairs are going to be in order before it can fly again.

If everyone was given $5 mil, it would be like giving them nothing because everything would suddenly cost MILLIONS of dollars. AND, the act of giving everyone that much money WOULD destroy the economy in the process. There AIN'T no such thing as a free lunch - no matter how much you TRY to decree it or enact it or create it or whatever. It cannot be done, period. The laws of human nature and economics will penalize you if you try to do it. That's one big lesson Obama doesn't seem to understand. The only thing you'll do is fuck the entire economy by trying.
