Big Boss 21
Well, I was bored and I was complaining how the mag clamps are $12. Well, my buddy decided we should just go the ghetto / African / Middle Eastern insurgent route and do this :THE BOLT WAS NOT IN THE CARRIER FOR THESE PICSTHE BOLT WAS NOT IN THE CARRIER FOR THESE PICSWin or fail? :-PEDIT : added bonus, we were also bored and discovered the Spetsnaz reloadYes, that is meThat'll ding up your HG, so if you're a cry-baby about your rifle having nicks in it, don't do that ;-P Edited May 10, 2013 by Nailbomb

nalioth 405
Is that bacon stuck in there? If so, it'll cook better if you stick it on the gas tube . .
22_Shooter 1,560
Shoulda used duct tape .
aresv 49
Needs duct tape and a hair cut, but it's still WIN! Way to improvise.
INDYk 9
Ghetto would have been masking tape or scotch tape... I knew hillbillies that did that down in Kentucky....
Big Boss 21
Ghetto would have been masking tape or scotch tape... I knew hillbillies that did that down in Kentucky.... Haha, yeah, screw that. I didn't have any duct tape or gorilla tape, but this box tape seems to be sufficient.
bigcec1 72
I would say win if it was that nice fabric duct tape and some nice cheese inside cause if you ever get stranded you could atleast eat the cheese and not the card board

Yeah, this is just the concept, but the final version will have better tape and a piece of wood in-between the mags instead of cardboard.
BuzzKillin 21
I've seen those on the shelf at Safeway!
5whiskey 0
Maybe I'm being the king of Duesche-bags, but I actually care a little how my gear looks. An old inner tube, a couple of black zip ties, and 1 extra minute would make the same function look SOOO much better. I like zip ties because I don't have to wash/scrub the mags to get the tape residue off when I eventually decide I don't like mags taped together (trust me, it will happen). Far as that goes, Doing the Iraqi/Somali thing and just taping two together with the receiver end facing different directions would look better than that (though not function better, admittedly). All in all, though, it works. Don't let me or anyone else beat you down man. If you're happy, screw us. Just promise us you'll dress it up with black duct tape ASAP, okay? MD_Willington 11
You know the Russians use that fancy blue electrical tape.... I'm just saying clear scotch tape... well it may make MK cry.. Definitely go with the blue electrical tape FTW !!
blfuller 2
Just don't get it wet. Maybe some plywood might work better.
janusthephoenix 24
I'm a big fan of functional improvisation, otherwise known as 'ghetto rigging'. As long as it works, win. Black tape would be a good upgrade, or perhaps para cord?
vbrtrmn 167
Needs some stapes and maybe some hot glue! Quite amusing, win if you're going for that otherwise, fail Edited August 10, 2009 by vbrtrmn

mstranglr 9
Ditch the cardboard spacer and just tape one magazine upside down, or sandwitch an upside down mag betwween 2 upright mags. Dark colored duct tape rules.
DogMan 2,343
Fail. Come on man, at least use some black electrical tape.
stix213 3
This guy thinks you need to tape moar mags together: That guy looks like he is out to kick some serious ass!!! Until I noticed his fly was down Sorry can't be scared of anyone who can't operate a zipper.
TR Young 175
I'd call it a win, but I REALLY like the idea of using a mag in the middle, upside down as your spacer. Might be bulky, but ammo's ammo, man!
Toby Allen 0
you are a fucking moron
pm-40 0
Looks like it works if you have to put something together on the fly.
