JJL0325 0
Eric you are one lucky bastard! Not only on the new gun but for having an awesome-sounding wife. My wife won't even touch a gun, let alone go blast some caps off with me.... Nice new piece!
tover26 18
Don't I know it! She's often surprising that way. She really likes the tacticool guns and gun accessories... so we have many gun accessories at this point. Her dad was a Marine so maybe that influenced her a bit as well. GeorgiaPD 408
Eric, Cool guns, Cool wife and a damn fine looking Sheperd. Your living in a dream world. Congrats
tover26 18
It's more of a shelter from the work world where, at least in my current position, good performance is rewarded with pay cuts and witchhunting. Loki, the german shepherd, doesn't care about that stuff but he's vicious with sticks and frisbees. It's nice to get out and blast targets. This Friday is going to be particularly bad and so the instant work finishes, we're going out on a date. When both of us can dis/reassemble the S12s, in the dark with distractions, in minutes... that'll be a dream world.
stiletto raggio 20
So now you are going to do a home conversion on the "sporter," right? Or you could get some nice wood from BRG3...
tover26 18
Some nice wood... my wife might like that.
Azrial 1,091
Ha! Loki, is a great name for a dog! Specially a mischievous one!
clifton 354
Funny its my sisters dog name as well, but Loki is a Papillon
22_Shooter 1,560
Nice looking setup you've got. The dog has a "How did you convince Mommy to take this picture?" look on his face.
tover26 18
Loki's an easy one... we threatened him with the single most fearsome weapon in the entire world... An old woman with white hair - which for some reason he is afraid of, and by afraid I mean terrified. The vet who nuetered him must've had a white haired assistant or something because we can't figure it out. Loki was the runt of 7 and my kids fell in love with his lion-mane. All of his siblings are growing up to be police, bomb, EMS, and assistant dogs. Loki's job is to keep us safe from frisbees.
ViperRy 7
Eric, where in MD are u? Over in Bowie here. I recently got my S12 back from Tac47 also. Had to send to Oregon for some other work... Tac47 parkerized it, but I got mine painted an HK black, just wasn't a fan of the gray from parkerizing. tover26 18
Close enough in Germantown. That's funny that we both had Tac47 guns in queue at the same time. Which model did you pick up from them? I'll have to go check it out on their customer wall. You should put some pics in the forum here. I sent my S12 to Tac47 to get converted after it was at Cadiz getting repaired for only having 1 port hole. Now its in Oregon. Lol, I bought the S12 in April and have had possession of it for no more than a week.
XXasdf 29
Thats an excellent lookin Saiga , can't wait to get my .308 back from them. Will have to look into having them convert my S12. Probly have to go with a MMG or a bulgarian skeleton stock tho.
tover26 18
I love the RAA skeleton stock.
XXasdf 29
I love the RAA skeleton stock. I was surprised at how well the RAA skeleton stock felt on the S12, pretty comfortable for a non converted saiga. The only problem I had with it was findng a recoil pad.
