SergeK 15
Just did my first conversion a few hours ago. Tapco Stock, Kvar Pistol Grip, Tapco G2 Trigger, Tapco Retainer Plate, so on so forth. usual common Conversion. Trying to decide between UTG Gas Tube or the Top Cover/Rail. Going to order the Handguard retainer and Bullet Guide next week.

Mullet Man 2,114
Great looking Mullet Man. Just wondering what kind of forearm did you use, it looks really nice? Thank you. Its just a Tapco Intrafuse without the rails on it. Buttstock is KVAR NATO length and i'm using the MD Arms Molot pistol grip. I have all 3 of my Saigas done up like that. But i'm on the verge of switching all of them over to traditional AK upper and lower forearms, just like in post #158 above. Edited July 21, 2011 by Mullet Man

JonnyDingDongs 158
Still had the receipt and change in my pocket while working on it. Honestly found this build more challenging than my S12. But completely worth every "WTF?!" moment.

Mullet Man 2,114
^ And a KVAR stock to replace that Tapco. FYI, KVAR has some listed for cheap in the "bargain" section of their website. Looks good!

t165 30
My next Saiga to be converted is a 5.45x39. I really like the green furniture. Did you get the forend from Carolina Shooting Supply? I notice you went with the Hogue grip. I used this grip on my last three conversions and they are my favorite. I'm tempted to place one on my Arsenal SGL-31. First saiga, first gun mod. Already feeling the itch for a complete conversion...
DaveinCT 2
My newly converted 5.45 in cammo green. Nice and small, light and easy to maneuver..
86K10 3
This is my first post here and my first Saiga conversion. Its a 5.45 with the help of a Bulgy 74 parts kit. Took about 4-5 hours to get at this point. Still no bullet guide but I am going to shoot it first before I put one in.
