WOOT! Got my bolt-on lower retainer really really quickly! Got some bonus items included too... some foam earplugs and some nylon hole plugs for the conversion.

The hole plugs are a bit large for the holes that are in the Saiga-12 by default. Hmm... do people usually drill these holes out to a larger size, or am I doing something wrong?

Anyways, huge thanks! Now I gotta hack up my lower handguard so that it can fit.

I will get a shirt from Dinzag shortly. I am in financial hell right now because of some payroll issues at work. Once they make good on what they owe me, I will be ordering the press-on upper from Dinzag and getting a few other parts from various vendors here. :)

But like seriously, I get paid on the 1st and 15th of every month, and my check on the 15th is already accounted for and they payroll problem will not be fixed until the following check... i have $150 to last me until my birthday on 01-October :( But at least I *have* a job. That is what matters.

My plugs were too big for both my 12 and 7.62. Rather than make the holes bigger, I just spent a little time with a file and removed some of the material from each plug. It was a little tedious doing the file then try to fit approach, but I felt better going that route.

I ordered a "Factory Conversion FCG" last spring and didn't get a chance to do anything with the gun until this past weekend. Well....I got into it and decided to just go ahead and do a full conversion on the gun. I sent Brian an e-mail and asked him what he thought could be done with the FCG that I already got from him. Without hesitation, he told me to take out the pin, disconnector and spring, mail the body back to him, and he would send me a new trigger body for no extra charge  He didn't have to do that, and I certainly didn't expect him to, especialy for free. I'm kinda new around here but have taken a lot of time to read many threads. I've come to the conclusion that aside from selling high quality parts and service, that doing business in this manner is why so many people express their profound respect for Brian, and now it's my turn. That little ole FCG purchase will turn into a devoted customer far down the road.

Thanks Dinzag Arms, you rock :super:
