Death_Delirium 7
I need to zero 3 guns and am looking for a gun vice to do so. It should be of decent quality but not too expensive (around $70). Any suggestion?
Rockina 60
I suggest you spend more and get one that will do the job. I haven't found one in the low a price range that looked well made and like it would be effective, spend a little over $100 and the quality and selection improves greatly. Death_Delirium 7
Why do you need a vise? To keep the scope consistent, and to make it easier. HateTheSnow 29
I generally use a bipod and a sandbag out to 1000 yards, but many of the folks at our range like using a Caldwell Lead Sled (MSRP $249, street price $199) for sighting in their rifles. My advice is to start on the inexpensive side (i.e. bipod/sandbag) and work up from there. The former has served me well for many years, but YMMV. BTW, presetting the sandbag under the stock to the target, followed by using the "squeeze method" on the sandbag to fine tune the point of aim will keep the scope very consistent.
