Bvamp 604
gel dips are kinda pricey, but look pretty good....i probably couldnt do it to at least 2 of my guns, though, for fear of burning it off.....maybe I should offer to burn test a conglomerate of prints for them on one gun for free.....i could just go to OH, and refinish it there when I was done.... LOL I know when they first came out, they werent that good with heat......hoping its getting more high temp over the years, though......
africamagical 5
could this be applied to something as intricate as a railed forend?
Bvamp 604
yeh, I believe so.....the gel film floating in the water tank stretches a little bit, from what I have seen, to accomodate features in the material being dipped....its a pretty neat idea, actually
Bayoupiper 738
So if you applied a photo of a Chaos rail TO a Chaos rail........

aresv 49
could this be applied to something as intricate as a railed forend? Probably. I suspect this is exactly how Halo used to do their "snakeskin" faux carbon finish forends.
