AK-308 2
It seems the steel hull is only available in birdshot. Anybody gut out the birdshot loads and load with buckshot? Are there any instructions/load data for this?
elvis christ 451
I'd be interested to know also, this would be a good fix for the top round deformation that occurs with regular buck shot.
waltham_41 52
I tried to, but didn't do something right, because the shot left the barrel at way below the needed velocity. I am getting into shotgun reloading, so hopefully I will find my mistake and correct it. In the meantime, I keep a silver bear on top, and keep it on setting 2. I figure if it is a critical situation, the slugs or buck that will follow the silverbear round will definitely cycle, and a few rounds will not kill me or the shotty. NM0 586
have a link to the shells? J&G has them. Been thinking about giving them a try myself for the same reason as the OP. http://www.jgsales.com/product_info.php/am...roducts_id/3319
