gkcf 8
Good lord, I thought the surefire 12 rounder was bad. That's like a fucking elephant dick! It must reach all the way to the ground!
Cobra 76 two 2,677
Those couplers are cool. I was gonna make some of those up when I get time. Nice.

ccpierce 0
So much for prone position. But hey, who needs to go prone when you've got a monopod. I challenge ya'll to make a mag that curls all the way up to the muzzle.

shades_of_grey 1,092
I guess it takes the addition of a magwell to adequately support franken-mags that big, huh? That doesn't suprise me. The mags in this thread, fully loaded, must be pretty fucking heavy. How many shells does the one in your pic hold, Bob? 20?

Dustin Lohof 1
There might be one thing new under the sun. If you notice the mag well is I think the first true straight in mag well. It is achieved by removing all the hooks and what not on a surefire 12 round mag and machining a notch on the side much like an AR-15. The mag release is the lever you see in the photo when pushed the mag falls out and the new one snaps right in. Bob how well does your mag work and how many rounds does it hold? Were waiting on different and hopefully much better springs. We also have 16 rounders and my favorite 20 rounders. The 27 is a bit much but really fun on a stand and shoot 25 or so target stage not to mention one hell of a conversation piece. Dusty

It's way too long to use, in my opinion, but it functions just fine. I can't remember how many it holds. I don't know what you mean by "first true straight in mag well"; the one in the pic (OEM Russian magwell) takes modified mags straight in and they drop straight out. My favorite mag is a 20 rounder too! My buddy Mike makes them.
