Job_of_Uz 0
I personally feel that it may be all around better to professionally convert the mag well to accept US GI M14/M1A magazines. They are nearly the same size and much higher quality. US GI mags are 20 round, and aftermarket mags go upwards of 30 rounds for M1A .308 They are pretty cheap, reliable and made very well. http://www.krebscustom.com Krebs Custom Guns will convert Soviet guns to accept diffrent 308 mags for about 150 dollars. I know for sure that you can convert the Soviet VEPR 308s to accept M1A and M14 magazines... I'd atleast ask about Saiga rifles. I have a M1A and a Saiga 308, the mags are not all that diffrent. Other people to talk to is http://www.robarm.com/ they seem to work with Krebs to convert these rifles.
