I plan on buying a 5.45 Saiga before the end of the month. I don't plan on converting it any time soon (that may change)and will leave it in the "sporting" configuration. I've looked on the internet and I have not found any Saiga 10 round or 5 rounds magazines for sale in this caliber. Any sites out there that have them?

Thanks. They had magazines for other Saigas, but not the 5.45.

Do any of our business members sell 5.45 mags? I don't think so, I'll PM you about some cheap ones to avoid breaking the rules.

Never mind, I misread the OP. Thought it had a bullet guide.

Copes has AK 74 mags that you can use in your saiga if you add a bullet guide

I use regular AK-74 mags, I just don't load them fully. For my 30 round mag, I find loading 22-25 rounds is max. I will eventually get a new bulet guide. But for the range, the AK-74 mags will work.

I didn't find any Saiga 5.45x39 mags on any of the commercial sites. However thanks to this site, I picked one up from a member who saw this thread. :D

Several people have reported they did not need a bullet guide to use standard 74 mags. you could check gunbroker too.
