Use this setting for high-brass like slugs, magnum loads, and most buckshot. Only use setting #2 for low-brass like birdshot and reduced-recoil loads. What you don't want to do is fire high-brass loads on position #2 as this over-gasses the gun and could result in damage to the receiver not to mention your shoulder! The dust cover could also come off and smack you in the forehead which is somewhat painful but, more importantly, embarrassing. Quote Link to post Share on other sites

bigsky59721 3 Posted October 12, 2009 Report Share Posted October 12, 2009 (edited) At the end of your gas block there is a knob with a 1 and 2 setting. Just press in the detent pin and select which setting you want. note: Tighten the knob all the way down then back out to which setting you want. Number next to detent pins is what setting your on.
