AKS-74U and SLR107UR   Samson type 3 for Bulgarian rail, Vltor offset scout mount and G2 LED             Z

Not mine, but I saw this on Arfcom. The sickest SBR'd AK I've ever seen.             http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=4&f=98&t=129664&page=1&sr=0

Form 1 came back August 30th. (I think I've posted this everyplace but in this thread. happy.png )

12.5" Saiga 12 SBS with the following work and parts pictured..

-Barrel cut to 12.5" and re-threaded

-Additional port added for cycling with the short barrel and full length gas

-AK100 solid folder installed (Izhmash S12 trunnion, Arsenal, Inc. stock & Izhmash S12 recoil pad)

-AK-Builder.com S12 front latch installed

-All unused holes welded and blended (other than BHO hole, might decide to use it one day)

-RAA import stamp magically disappeared

-AK-Builder.com S12 trigger guard & selector stop riveted on

-Tom Cole heavy duty piston Installed

-Form 1 info engraved on the bottom of the receiver and out of the way

-Complete refinish

-Bolt, Carrier & Hammer re-profiled and polished (cycles nearly as smooth as a standard AK)

-MD Arms Molot grip

-MD Arms V-Plug (cycles fine with factory plug, but, I prefer the hand-adjust-ability)

-Tapco pistol grip nut

-Tapco G2 double hook FCG

-Tapco original style retaining plate (modified for S12)

-Izhmash factory 8 round magazines

-MD Arms MD-20 drums modified to lock in with the folder front latch

Soon to be added:

-Izhmash S12 grip (whenever they get here)

-AK rear sight mod w/black polymer Russian AK handguards

-Tromix Heavy Hitter firing pin (might as well)

After a year of waiting, 50 mags were released to the market. Within one minute of receiving the heads-up email, I ordered five. Ouch! That hurt. Nothing about HK is cheap. Now that I have more than one mag, this thing might actually make it to the range. LOL!

I did all the conversion work myself. SEF bolt and barrel. I need to work on my Daniel Craig, 'Quantum of Solace' look.

I'm really liking the m92 sidefolder. Are those the Autoburst handguards on the 107ur? How did they fit??

Yep. they're made out of Delrin. Super strong & heat resistant. The fit was pretty close. I only had to do a small bit of trimming on the upper HG to get it to fit on the gas tube.

been awhile since i last logged in to this forum due to busy sked. i just wanted to share my new high power rifle (my first). i dont think this is legal there in the US, but lucky for us, its all good here in the Philippines.

This is a Norinco T97A short assault rifle, which we coined as T97C. 12.5 inch barrel 1:7 twist. uses standard stanag/nato mags and 5.56x45 SS109 (preferred) or M193 ammo.

note the odd placement of the selector switch near the butt plate of the rifle. safe, semi-auto, full auto and TRI-BURST. yeah!
