stevem 0 Posted January 7, 2004 Report Share Posted January 7, 2004 (edited) I got a swell old SKS for Christmas this year.It's a #'s matching Yugo M59/66 with a nice hardwood stock.It took forever to get all the cosmoline off the thing!!I got it all cleaned up, sanded the stock nice and smooth and rubbed in some linseed oil.It really has some nice grain.Too bad the Russian SKS's are harder to find now, they have the chrome lined bore. the best thing about it is the fact that I have a Saiga 7.62x39, so I already have lots of ammo!
