tover26 18
Okay, so it starts out with an S12... I couldn't decide if it belongs in this forum or the General Forum. Me Warming up with Federal Slugs... these things beat the hell out of the pumpkin zombies. Wife Enjoying Federal #8 shot... in the Tac47 converted S12... worked just perfectly on Gunfixer #3 and also #2 setting surprisingly. Wife Testing out the Saiga AK x39... Me Losing My Balance with a Bulgy AK full auto... so it's my first time with a FA AK. Wife Shooting Mac10 FA, Losing Balance... and almost falling over. Notice the common theme for first time FA shooters? Wife Ramboing with an M60... love the guy cheesing in the background. Trust me, no one jumped to help me out! Me Shooting FA Glock... man, this thing kicked harder than almost anything else I've shot, including 44 magnum stuff.
gtnichols 51
Again, It looks like an awesome time, That reminds me I need to get my wife out shooting again, which she does on occasion. Even when that mac 10 FA started to get away,. it was kept safely pointed down range, and the second burst was controlled much better.
sunnybean 939
Looks like fun. Can I play?

janusthephoenix 24
Those are a lot of cool toys. Who titled the video, "Hot chick with M60"? You know, the one with like 4x the views of all the others?
Ryann 8
I did, of course. I'm not going to give my video some lame name like "First Time Newbie Soccer Mom with Some Kind of Machine-type Gunny Thing".
Azrial 1,091
Very nice videos. It looked like you had a lot of fun!
shades_of_grey 1,092
Very entertaining videos. The only FA weapon I've fired is a FA Mac-10. It becomes an anti-aircraft gun very quickly, (if you keep that trigger pulled). Is that your SGL21 in the "Wife Testing out the Saiga AK x39" video, Tacti'cool'Wife? Ryann 8
Yep, that is mine! it's still in the holding period, but the gun store owner brought it for me to play with when we went to the full auto shoot.

MGs are only anti-aircraft weapons in the hands of inexperienced FA shooters. Its a perfectly controllable weapon when you learn how to hold it down. Here's a vid I found just by searching youtube:
MCASgt New River 10,036
I did, of course. I'm not going to give my video some lame name like "First Time Newbie Soccer Mom with Some Kind of Machine-type Gunny Thing". +1 Heck, I dont even know you and you got Tacti-"cool" points already! Nice job and looks like everyone was having fun that day!!
tover26 18
It was our first time shooting full auto. Logically, your brain says... "Recoil is going to kick it up." I think both of us were expecting and doing our best to anticipate it, but it still catches you by surprise. I'm sure we'll do better next time. The store runs up a tab for the ammo you shoot... we're picking the KVAR for Tacti in about 2 hours and will settle the tab at that point. If it turns out to be affordably less than I'm dreading, we'll be doing this as often as they host them. They had a .308 something there that I declined shooting after almost falling over backwards with the 9mm Glock FA. We both need some time to assimilate what the physical experience was. Both of us had sore and aching hands as well... which neither of us expected. Definitely, neither of us will be watching movies anymore and going... "Oh yeah, that's exactly how those guns work." Matrix I where Neo and Trinity fight in the building lobby vs all the SWAT-type guards and busts out the mini machine pistols... yeah right. Tacti gets a kick out of being the cool girl who isn't scared of guy-type events. As the shoot progressed, she became good friends with the store owner's wife. I think the older lady in the pictures came over from a house nearby (2 miles +) to see what all the rucus was about. It was reassuring that even given the plethora of full auto candy everywhere, about half the people had never seen a Saiga 12 before and came over asking questions. BronCobraJet 80
Ha, any FA weapon is anti aircraft until you realize what it takes to control them! I shot a H&K MP5 9mm full auto, and did not realize how fast/how much the barrel would climb. It is amazing. Cool vids EricinMaryland! It's also nice that you have a spouse that supports and joins in your habits.

I'm sure you're right. Of course, the only FA weapon I've fired is a SMG, (MAC-10), not a full MG. I only fired it the one time, as it was someone else's.. and tbh, at the time I fired it I had very little experience with firearms, (age 17). I had no instruction or even pointers provided before I pointed it at the target and squeezed that trigger.. so it quickly became an AA gun.
Eric Pate 478
Aaah, thats ok. I fired my first MG (an M11/9) at age 13. At about 85-90 lbs, I think it was practically lifting me off the ground!
