johnstein11 1
Thanks to everyone who provided info on my last thread. A couple of more questions: 1. Where is a good place to buy 12 round mags? On this site? I can't seem to find it anywhere. Are all the manufacturers reliable? 2. Can I shoot slugs and 3" magnum shells? 3. Do I have to modify the magwell to accept 10, 12, 20 round mags? 4. I'd info, possibly a video, of how to convert my saiga to have ak style pistol grip, stock (folding preferable), where can I find info? I checked out the sticky here but didn't see specifics. Should I hire a gunsmith or is this something I can do myself?
Lone Star Arms 2,049
There are several vendors here, including the S12 site that sell higher cap mags. You don't have to modify a standard S12 to accept these mags. Drums won't accept 3" shells, but most of the mags will. You generally can shoot anything in 2 3/4" and 3" with your S12 including magnum rounds. Be sure to read and follow the manufacturers instructions. WS

mscottrogers 56
this is meant for a rifle but all the steps are the same except for the feed ramp. You will not need it http://www.cross-con...sion/Step_1.htm good luck, have fun, make it your own.you don't need to modify mags as you do for rifles and any US stock will fit. heres the 922 list http://thegunwiki.com/Gunwiki/BuildAkVerifyCompliance Edited November 17, 2009 by utahhandyman
