gunfun 3,931 Posted December 14, 2009 Report Share Posted December 14, 2009 Speaking as an owner, there are only 3 reasons that I can think of to take it off. 1) for the debatable advantage of an MD 20.(fast mag changes = more firepower without the bulk of the drum. while having a nicer to carry gun.) 2) to install another promised but still unavailable magwell that will accept the promised md doublestacks. (apparently it is supposed to work with the drum too.) 3) you are moving to cali, and you are selling the magwell to someone who can use it. It is so much better, you will never consider switching back. Unless you feel that somehow having a gun that works easily and quickly without ever having to fumble is somehow unfair.
