. . nor is a Galil mag (which is why the poly versions fit the .223 Saiga [which is designed not to accept AK mags] w/o any mods to the rifle ['cept the bullet guide])looks like they stuck an AR mag into the mag bay of a Galil!

And which is why I'm curious about it. If it fits like an Orlite, and is priced at the same level as their other magazines, it might be worth checking out.. . nor is a Galil mag (which is why the poly versions fit the .223 Saiga [which is designed not to accept AK mags] w/o any mods to the rifle ['cept the bullet guide])

And as for FP's observation: yeah, it looks like an AR mag because it seems like they've reused as much of their AR magazine tooling as possible. For instance, it's a 30-round magazine, not 35, which suggests some degree of mold reuse.

Perhaps you didn't notice the link in the original post? No, the point I was trying to make is I thought the photo was a fake! Tapco does not have this anywhere on their web site? Where did the photo come from? If it is a .223 mag for AK format, where did it come from? Or did someone jimmy up an AR mag to work in a AK?
