Frankyoz 15
The M240G in 50 cal looks like the BEST.... The 240G is a 7.62x51 I have spent several years with this platform know it well and its fun to shoot. Set up simlar to a M2 so easy to see the confusion it has a trigger set up like the M2 for use on armored vehicles where space is tight.
dannytoro 3
.....Did we not just see yet another instance of .223 folly when some poor soldiers in an Afghanistan firefight watched their ineffective fire render their rifles junk from too much firing?.....It's a fine varmint round, little else.....7.62 x 39 carries superior terminal ballistics throughout it's effective range.... Rhodes1968 1,638
Well FMJ has other benefits as it will penetrate cover and type III vests better than SP or HP rounds. I see a time very shorty that body armor is going to a take a quantum leap and the FMJ will once again become the most deadly round.
Paulry 50
Makes me wonder if back in the day of say the M1 Garand, guys sat around arguing which was better? GI 30-06, British 303, German 8mm, Swiss 7.5mm or Russian 7.62. Back then they argued that the 45-70 was to light and they wanted 45-90 or bigger maybe .500 nitro express?
