jsp 1
Which is generally better in a 19" S12 in regards to reliability? 3 or 4 gas ports? Do all the newer 19" model S12s have only 3 gas ports? My older 2001 S12 has 4 gas ports. Are the 3 gas ports in the newer models drilled out bigger or are they the same size as the 4 gas port models? I'm going to be picking up a new S12 soon.
volkov 318
both are fine.. and depend entirely on the rifle.. if it functions well, three is fine. as for port size, I'm not sure.. mine are bigger then they came now.. thats for sure Edited January 28, 2010 by volkov
VanKiller 322
Older guns had 4 ports at .070. Newer guns usually have 3 ports at .093. some are coming in with 3 at .070.........or a combination of the two sizes... If after a hundred rounds or so and if you have everything in the original configuration and it still is not working properly, just call me for "No fee" warranty service. setlab 11
Just to be clear, if someone configures their saiga with a pistol grip their warranty will be void and not cover a gas port issue from the factory?
