kresk 10,063
That's happened to me a couple times and I just wiped the crud off with CLP and that's taken care of it. If it's a recurring thing then I'd flush it with water, blow off with compressed air, irrigate with WD40, blow off, and then apply CLP.
Azrial 1,091
Well it is not "Bluing" Salts, because the Saiga is not blued, it is painted. Just wipe it off or give the gun a through cleaning.

Azrial 1,091
Ah, so it does, my apologies. However, I would think that anyone that actually has their own bluing tanks would understand this. The firearm should have washed it down thoroughly after bluing. The blueing process is controlled corrosion, it is not "controlled" if the salts are not thoroughly washed away at the conclusion. The areas that he states that he is getting weeping indicates that the firearm was perhaps not completely dissembled prior to immersion in the tank. If the OP paid to have it blued, I would take it back and ask then to finish the job. If he did it himself, as the post states, he needs to study up on the correct application of the bluing process.
