unusedusername 3 Posted February 5, 2010 Report Share Posted February 5, 2010 (edited) This link can help you tell if your shotgun is configured in a legal manner for California. http://www.calguns.net/caawid/sgflowchart.pdf 10 rounds is the maximum legal size of magazine you can buy in CA for anything (shotguns included). Possessing a >10 round mag is not illegal if you had it prior to the year 2000, however as (AFAIK) there were no saiga 12 magazines prior to 2000 it would be quite hard to prove you had it before the year 2000.
