Donkismash 81
The one that stops trigger slap?
BrutalGardener 205
I'm pretty sure that mine does. I was wondering what it was for...
Donkismash 81
any chance you could take a pic and post it?
Digger44 0
mine does not have any such rivet, but it has no trigger slap either.
n102788 6
The Tapco G2 trigger has NO trigger slap so there would be no need for that rivit, im just going out on a limb here but that rivit would probably apply more on a selective fire ak 103.
BrutalGardener 205
I cleaned my SGL21 last night. There's definitely a rivet under the trigger. I will try to take a pic and post it this evening. Edited February 19, 2010 by SpetsnazGRU

BrutalGardener 205
Here you go, just for you. Could only take one picture before the camera battery died. Hope it's enough. You really don't have this rivet on your SGL21, Digger44? Edited February 20, 2010 by SpetsnazGRU
nexus 0
All AK's have a rivet there to attach the trigger guard. The SGL-21 has the large flat topped rivet that, as mentioned, "prevents trigger slap." I believe this only applies to particular FCGs, because I have newer pattern Arsenal FCGs in a variety of guns, and with or without this rivet, none of them get trigger slap, and G2s don't have trigger slap regardless of that rivet. I would like to know when this rivet was first implemented. '80's AK74? I don't think I saw it mentioned on Tantal's site.
