Hey guys!

I have the numbers. If anyone is interested in how I generated the numbers, I did it through here, www.random.org.

The numbers are .....

7387 4430

2066 8883

6247 6544

9128 4536

7792 6459

I am going to run some searches now and see what pulls up. Give me a minute... Unless you want to help.

You can search with a wildcard, for example 73* for the first number, that should get you anything in the 73xx range. Only problem would be if someone didn't enter numbers right.

Just realized you would also have to search in the 74xx range since you said closest regardless of over/under...

This might make it easier, if you didn't cave and print them out already, LOL.

I'm going to try that! I still haven't found the first winner doing plus one. Not to mention going backwards... One of my guys said we could use exel but I no enough about stuff like that to say Exhell... Might have to wait until I get to the shop tomorrow...

YEA!! Alright, The scientific method (and a good dose of luck ) + years of watching the Price is Right finally pays off. I exported the whole thread to Excel and sorted all the numbers and looked for the widest window to plop down in.

Thanks Mike for the awesome products and cool contest!

I had the same idea but forgot to post, doh! Unless I missed something, you did something wrong if 2077 came up as the number with the biggest window in your results. Here is the info on the gap you chose:

2112 - 2047 = 65 number window, best number to pick = 2081

Here are the three biggest gaps, AKA what my numbers would have been:

8161 - 8013 = 148 number window, best number to pick = about 2653

4104 - 3962 = 142 number window, best number to pick = 4,033

2723 - 2584 = 139 number window, best number to pick = 8,087

Just goes to show ya, it's all about luck. Even if I had used the mathematically best numbers, I still would not have won. As big of pain in the ass as it is, it's not worth it.

More interesting info

Top 5 most chosen numbers: 777(9x), 762(4x), 666(4x), 555(4x), 333(4x)
