Here's a couple new items.

Don't overgas your gun, things break. Spare bolt carriers are not available.

Also that lump in the barrel didn't come from the factory. That was a bore obstruction.

I didn't even bother to take a pic, but, if you screw up the profile on your hammer so bad it hits the edge of the bolt stem and not the firing pin, it's not the factories fault...

Yes, these were from three different 12 ga guns.

The barrel will end up on a 12 inch gun.

The carrier will end up in my 8 inch machinegun.

And the bad hammer job is going back to the vendor who did the conversion.

What if, hypothetically, the bolt carrier legitimately breaks? What then? Since they're not available as spares does RAA have to cannibalize a new gun? Seems like a bunch of BS if you ask me.

Yepp, Sure as Hell is.

And yepp, that's just what I have to do.

Dam! So whats over gassed? Shooting highbase loads on setting 2?

Yes. Use setting 1 for high brass. Think of it as the smaller the number, the less gas allowed in. So for weaker shells have it on setting 2 you would want to let more gas in so it cycles correctly.
