vbrtrmn 167
What many people don't realize is that "IN GOD WE TRUST" was not on the official US currency, until 1956.

Paulyski 2,227
So much work put into something that is imaginary. It's been imaginary from the start. The currency of the revolution that Ben Franklyn came up with was based on Spanish gold that didn't exist.
BronCobraJet 80
This is very cool. Thanks. We are not permmitted to use the word Jew, or the phrase Jew down at work, however. EEOC rules, also the term "circle the wagons" because it might be offensive to Indians (not Native Americans; indians as they wrote it) We also cannot call women weak or elderly employees "old". Evey week there is a new EEOC (equal employment) rule in our newsletter defining our rights at work. I thought it would be neat to print this up and post it on the bulliten board at work, but I could be fired for saying the word Jew. Even though I have Indian blood in me, and some close relatives are Jews, I'm not permitted to say it. But I can enjoy it here. I can't wait to go to work again and see what the new shit they think up will be. I bet they will never deny cursing in the Name Of God, though. Seriously, when is the last time in your life you have ever heard the term "circling the wagons" if ever? Yet we can be fired for it.
