I read the thread by Danzag about the parts count and it helped a great deal. I have one dumb question that I can not seem to find the answer to. I have a nonthreaded shotgun. The thread states it has 13 parts, if I remove the mag and replace it with the US mag high cap mag why is that not 10 forgien parts. I do not have the "evil" pistol grip, folder, etc. What am I missing from the count. Thanks

Your math is correct.

US made "non sporting" magazines provide their own 922r compliance when used in non-threaded shotties.

I have a threaded barrel Saiga-12, 14 parts.

So if I put an American gas puck into it and replaced the magazine with an American high capacity, the parts count would be reduced to 10 right?

(U.S. gas puck=1 part, U.S. magazine=3 parts)

I'm not sure why math is so hard for folks.

14 - 4 = 10
