I saw one of their lawyers on TV today, his was contending that they did nothing but talk crazy. I don't disagree with him, its obvious that they didn't follow through with their (probably) ill conceived plot, but I'm pretty sure that a group of people sitting around and talking about something constitutes some form of conspiring, which is also illegal.

 

That said, I liken these hilljacks to the 'al Qaeda' terrorists that they arrested in Miami a few years ago, the ones that were going to blow up the Sears Tower. Both groups are pretty much incompetent, but someone along the line is trying to send a message. They just happened to get some halfwits instead of someone actually capable of carrying out such a threat.
