That is exactly what I was thinking last night looking at the top part of the mag where it latches to the Receiver! Well if that is the case - I'll keep looking for another picture! (I mean, there are original factory 10 round mags - I've read it on the manufacturers page, and some Russian forums where people say that they have them...)

Makc 64
I ordered a couple of those 10 round sticks today !!! $30 X 2 + $7 S&H = $67 - bits paying $80 for an 8-rounder... I asked the guy about the 20-rd drum - he did not have any, but told me that they go nowadays for around $600 - $700 today! If figured, I'd give birth first, collect a "Noble Rrize", and use the money to get one!!!!

Stoney57 0
So, what ever happend with this? Couldnt you just cut about 1 inch off the top of a 5 rounder and the top off of the 10 rounder and do some mad epoxy work? Depending on how strong the 10 round spring is from the USAS maybe use the whole 5 round mag and make it hold about 15-17.
Blackjack 1
I tried to order a usas-12-10 yesterday and they called me back to day telling me they were out of stock and diddn't think they would be getting any more in. ZakherBakher 1
Sure it is, guys here is a short explanation http://archer42.narod.ru/FakeExposure.htm
Sergey Podgirin 0
Hi, everyone! My name is Sergey, I'm from Moscow, Russia, and I'm the guy from the above pic. I must dissapoint You - it is really a fake. I've made this pic with "ZakherBakher's LE-only Saiga-12K and a CD case, looking alike a real drum. As far as I know, there are only three types of Saiga-12 original Russian mags - a 5-round, an 8-round and a newest 10-round one. An 8-round mag is the most reliable one, almost as reliable, as a tubular magazine of classic shotguns. When creating Saiga-12 it took almost a year to create a reliable 8-round box mag for 12ga shells, while creating Saiga-12 itself took only a few months. Terrific, ain't? Neveretheless, I hope that Bradly-law period will be over soon, and You all could enjoy these pretty mags with Your Saigas. The very best regards from Moscow Saiga owners, Sergey Podgirin P.S. On the picture from this link You can see a real 21-round USAS drum-mag, converted for Saiga-12. This is not a fake, and it worked OK a year ago. http://i.guns.ru/forums/icons/attachments/...00006_30562.jpg
Makc 64
The are the pics in the 2 replies above! (so it would be easier for you guys to see them!) As Sergey said - Fake!

MicroBalrog 0
Well, this really doesn't answer the main question: is converting these USAS-12 drum mags even theoretically possible?
Makc 64
YES... THEORETICALLY... NOT LEGALY... (unless you are a LEO...)
Gunfighter84 0
Hello all, just bought my first Saiga today, and wanted the 'baddest' of the bunch. It is realy too bad about the drum magazines, I cant recall where but I believe I saw a picture of M.T. shooting a drum fed Saiga12 prototype about a year ago when I first started getting interested in the breed. Could be wrong but I'll bet dollars to doughnuts they exist. About that LEO clause, hey, they call me up when regular LEO's fail, so why the heck cant I have a "LEO-ONLY" toy like that? After all, the Government trusts me with my 120mm smoothbore, a pair of FN-MAGs (M240s in the biz) and a Brownining M-2 at work, why oh why wont they trust me with a lil' ol 12-ga w/20rnds in the clip at home? Oh well, as we say in my parts, may be they will if they dont know they are.... Ryan Anderson (Spec. 1st Pl, C co, 2/303rd AR, WA-ARNG)
