cobravenom39 17
How do I know if I have a threaded barrel. I can't see under the FSB but it looks like the barrel is tapered inward under the FSB shroud, so I think it might be threaded. I just bought it and it looks like it was just recently made. Thanks, Guys
Mossberg Man 1
Mine was made in 09, the barrel was not threaded, but I went ahead and cut my shroud off anyhow. Dinzag makes an awesome kit for threading and it was so easy to do. I just finished threading my barrel today, and it looks great.

ae13291 3
take a good look under that FSB before you cut it off.

Aceshigh 0
stupid question... is there any way to tell if its threaded without cutting the sleve attached to the FSB off?
ae13291 3
you can also try using a feeler guage to stick between the gap. make sure you have the military barrel before you get your hopes up. if the shells put a case neck ring on it then your chances of a threaded barral is super slim
