AK-308 2
While shooting some buckshot (Nobel clear hulls) today, the recoil apparently cause the shells to lodge forward where the rim pushed past the ledge that guides it in the mag body, causing the shells to become wedged in the mag body. Anyone else see this?
gtnichols 51
I can see how that would happen, but never had any trouble like that with mine,..even on high brass
hobbyshooter 59
Both of my first run 2nd gen AGP mags had this problem. I took them apart and sanded the mag body halves to reduce the overall width, therefore reducing the interior width. The Mag bodies now gun the shell better and I haven't had this occur since with MANY rounds fired through them since. I used an adhesive backed sand paper stuck to my bench top to keep it flat, then I'd sand it down, pinch the two halves together and run a hull through the body slowly to see how much space there was. BpS12 512
I've got a couple hundred rounds thru my 5, 5rndrs and have had no issues. Might just be a bad batch, but for around $20, it may happen.
