getitat 609
Parf, that looks vicious. What kind of gas tube/top rail arrangement do you have going there? That quick release lever near the FSB has me wondering.... It's a beautiful thing, mon..... Respectfully, guido
Parf 19
What kind of gas tube/top rail arrangement do you have going there? That quick release lever near the FSB has me wondering.... It's just an AMD length Ultimak, with a Vltor SMQ-OCG flashlight mount. Here is a better pic of it.
Moe Zambeak 53
I can't compete with some of the others posted here, but here is my humble submission: *ETA, Parf, that is one sweet looking rifle! Edited June 18, 2010 by Moe Zambeak

shades_of_grey 1,092
^ *drool* Looks fucking great, macbeau! I really need to pick up a Draco already... problem is I have to order one blind online, and can't inspect before I buy. I ordered a Draco last fall and when it arrived I saw it had a canted gas block/fsb. I sent it back to Classic Arms, and requested a refund rather than exchange since I wanted the money to buy a SGL21 while they were ~$500. mammynun 14
Here's mine. I used a step drill from Harbor Freight to ream the Ultimak, the "2-pack" was < $10. Edited September 5, 2010 by mammynun
thehopping1 105
My buddy's Draco. My paperwork went through and mine should be engraved next week.

thehopping1 105
Neat Ok for now, but badly in need of new furniture.
Paulry 50
Any way you can change the stock to folding? That would be perfect with a folder and as you say "upgrade the furniture". Potent package!
thehopping1 105
Any way you can change the stock to folding? That would be perfect with a folder and as you say "upgrade the furniture". Potent package! It has the same bolt pattern as the Ace stocks so I can use an Ace folding mechanism. What I really wish I had the money to do is a polymer AK74 folder with a new trunnion and latch setup. The front will eventually get an Ultimak and maybe the Hogue hand guard. Here it is next to my buddy's WASR
SELFDEFENSE 2
first post. old school draco. changed out the pistol grip and forearm. shortened a krink break, added a rear sling swivel and canvas sling. sorry for crappy pic Chains Terrific, just what I want to do. Where did you get the Krink funnel muzzle attachment?
Sumsky 115
Man those Dracos look SWEET!
whitetrashrn 74
Found the handguard rail (china) at a fun show last year for $25. Found a place to put them. Little Bushnell microdot, Hogue hand grip, peice of 1" strap with a strong D ring under the grip for sling. SBR at tax time. I like the ACE side folder the best so far. Thinking this would be a great little shooter with a stock. Would replace my AMD 65 on the backpack. Edited September 20, 2010 by whitetrashrn
farmdog 12
My identity crisis Draco. WASR pg and hand guard, chinese sling w/ EG bayo frog clips on the ends, HK 53 end cap sling swivel on receiver end, and a US fh. I'm left handed so I use the para cord and run the sling under the hg. Nothing fancy but not out of the box either.
theboz 6
man, why cant SBRs be legal in wa state. i drool in these draco pic threads everytime.
22_Shooter 1,560
This isn't mine, but I saw them on Arfcom awhile ago and saved the pics. One of the best looking Draco's I've seen. AK purists, don't scroll down........

What, something like this? : ^ (not my rifle) I looked at Dracos for a long time, and even bought one for a few hours, (FSB was canted to I sent it back to Classic for a refund). I came to realize that the vast majority of Romanian AK's aren't the high quality I'm looking for. In my experience both Russian and Bulgarian rifles are; so, I bought a SLR-107CR instead, (~$825 shipped). Once I get my stamp, ~4" of barrel come off, a new muzzle brake goes on, and my 'CR becomes a semi-auto "AK-104". Edited October 7, 2010 by post-apocalyptic
Steppe Sweeper 22
I decided to go with a Galil SAR look... Definately needs a Tromix Galil bolt handle and a RPK mag to complete the great look (great job, very nice looking and functional/versatile fighting weapon) then maybe a Krebs or Dinzag safety to enhance handling as was the hallmark of the Galil for an AK. I looked up this thread to check out pics of a couple other cool SBR's that I'm not seeing now, actually had questions on a PG and FH used on one of them...even the pimp Draco pics are no longer up. I had printed out as gun porn most of the ones in this thread but seem to have lost them and long since deleted the files off the puter. Off topic but speaking of gun porn if anyone has a link to that pic of dozens of oiled, nude chicks brandishing AKs in some kind of desert setting can you please post or pm me a link...best ever I gotta get a spare/cache Wasr, replace the S-12 that I had to sell plus parts and conversion job, get a PSL and a police trade Gen 3 Glock 21 first and support gear and ammo for all, but am really hoping to have a Draco of my own this year (a whole battery to rebuild). The only mods I have in mind are a bakelite grip and a US AIMR flash. If I didn't live in Michigan would have one converted into a semi AIMR with the Romie wire folder and forward curve PG lower HG, really like Romanian stuff and the AIMR/MD-86 Commando/MD-90 has that perfect AK-104ish length, between Suchka and AMD size. As a pistol, well, it's like I always wanted to own a Mac or Tec-9 just to have, play with. Might as well get an "assault pistol" in my preferred platform. When I do am gonna just have to have a Romie RPK too to round out the collection. Great mods guys. Edited January 16, 2011 by Steppe Sweeper

Steppe Sweeper 22
Very nice and cool video too. I love Spokane as well, great town BTW. It came out of the box with a bakelite PG? Goddamn whoever had the SBR with a unique PG and flash, Magpul stock on Ace folder, Ultimak, Micro Aimpoint and scout mounted light, and a single point sling, please repost pics. Coolest firearm I've ever seen, I mean that. Perfect canditate for if you could only have one gun. Edited January 18, 2011 by Steppe Sweeper

Yeah Spokane's not too bad, minus all the police shootings lately... anyway, yeah it came with the Bakelite PG. I have no idea why. Its the only C model I've seen like that. Who knows, maybe somebody building these things decided they had too many bakelites that day, so my draco got one?
vintagedude88 16
Here it is next to my buddy's WASR So if I added a barrel extension to the Draco such that it will match the barrel length of the WASR, would it be legal as a rifle without needing to file for a tax stamp? As long as you added the barrel extension before you add a buttstock, and attached said barrel extension in one of the approved ATF methods that they consider "permanent".
