xICEMANx 13
My recently aquired Draco. Plans to SBR with the ACE side folding stock, add a Krink flash hider, and maybe a foregrip.
corbin 621
Got to shoot a Draco SBR yesterday! Wasn't mine, but it was cool. What a difference a stock makes. Another cool thing was that since I had my S12 out there (at the pit), and it has a Magpul AFG on it, the guy agreed to remove his VG (which was QD anyway) and let me try it with the AFG. I think he was as curious about how it'd feel as I was. Folding the stock out of the way, it gave a pretty good approximation of what I could expect on a regular Draco. I liked it quite a bit. While I don't yet have an ATF letter to put one on my Draco, I'll be writing to get one ASAP. Assuming they clear it, I'll be needing to get a railed HG that'd work with the Ultimak.

getitat 609
Tres hermanos Finally got my supressor. Ordered it 51 weeks ago. It's a RJF suppressor, but I got it from a different retailer who sent me the wrong threading then blew me off (figuratively speaking) when I tried to get it right. Getting the wrong product delivered sucks any time, getting the wrong product on an NFA transaction truly sucks out loud. Red Jacket stepped up and got it straightened out even though they really had no obligation to do so. (Note to self: One dealer on the CHRISTmas card list; One dealer off the CHRISTmas card list...) Anyway, three variations on the Draco SBR theme. I've been waiting on the supressor to take these pic's, I reckon nothing says SBR like a supressor. Upper and lower weapons are Dracos, center one is technically a RJF "AK-47 Entry Pistol" from six or seven years ago. It has the AK-74 type gas block/front sight that I think adapts to a suppressor better than a threaded barrel. JMHO.... -guido in Houston "God Loves Liberty"

getitat 609
Hello, WhiskeyMinion Hope to hit the range this weekend. Was relly hoping to go during the week when it maybe wasn't so crowded, hard to tell how loud your gun is when you're surrounded by thunderous ones. Other than the suppressor though, the SBR'd pistols shoot great. Especially once the sight radius is stretched out a bit. The TWS dogleg helps a lot, but I'm searching for a better (and windage adjustable) rear sight to mount on them. C'mon down to Texas and join the fun, we need to balance out some of these Californians who think they can bring their politics with 'em. They figure out pretty quick they ain't in LA any more....And we don't particularly give a shit what they think is "hurtful" or whatever.... Merry Christmas Hello, Berzerker2 My comment was directed at Californins who believe they can dictate how others around them are going to behave. If you choose to include yourself in that group, it's your call, but generally firearms advocates don't lean that way in my estimation. One thing I have noticed from the substantial time I've spent there, is that many Californians have a strong disdain for people in the rest of the lower 47 States, however, aside from the occasional junket to Vegas or Reno, or a trip to Hawaii, they've never even left the State of California. So, while I applaud folks taking the plunge to leave, many have no idea what they're getting into. And waltzing into a different state and immediately begin dictating to those around you how horribly they are acting doesn't really endear them to their new "neighbors". Nothing directed to anybody personally, and certainly nothing towards you. And Arizona sounds like a great place. Have a safe and happy New Year. -guido "God Loves Liberty"

THE VILLIAN 55
i would love to get a draco, but apparently, california only allows 1 round mags for those. lame...... but at least we can still get full size AK's with 10 round mags, even if it needs a bullet button. its better than nothing I've seen places selling CA compliant Dracos, with a bullet button installed. You sure they're limited to 1 round? honestly, i havent really looked into it, but i know atlantic firearms sells them with 1 round mags, or as they call it, a zero round sled mag. i suppose i jumped to the conclusion that these firearms need to have 1 round mags to be california legal because of this. heres the link to the specific product im talking about http://www.atlanticf...product920.aspx Ok here is the deal on Cal legal AR/AK Pistols... Two rules 1. Has to come into the state as a complete pistol, as a single shot pistol and mag lock. 2. Can be built into a pistol from scratch. 80% lower kit applies to both AR/AK. You CANNOT buy an AR or AK and convert into a pistol. You Can convert into a rifle from a pistol but not Rifle to Pistol. Once your AR/AK comes into the State of Commie sorry California(through your FFL), you can remove the 1 shot sled and run your 10 round mags. I bought my Draco through Peach State Guns and I had it sent here to the Left coast. I bought an AR pistol through Atlantic Fire Arms and had it sent here to the left coast. Educate yourself don't take my word. Talk to a few different FFL's and do your research on laws in your state and county. Not to promote Calguns. but they have a shit ton of info on Ca legal matters. I hope that helps clear up any confusion. thank you man, that does help alot. i definitely want to look into this just to make sure everything i do is legal, which basically is just putting 10 round mags on a draco. id like to put some kind of collapsible stock on it too, although ive got a feeling that is not legal in california. yeah, not legal in ca. unless you turn it into a rifle by adding a barrel extension to get it to 16" and its functioning length in greater than 30". Mod must be permanent, can be done without paper work and cannot be returned to a pistol configuration. I wanted to put a folder on my 16" S.308 but didnt because a friend of mine told me about the 30" minimum functioning requirement, but im still unsure if that is valid, there are so many stupid requirements you hear about in cali that law enforcement cant even keep track of the shit, So my question is how legit is that law and were can i find actual California Gun Regs in writing? CDOJ Website?

And the nature of my remark was not how it's done in California, but that we probably don't really care about that once they land here. I still have many friends and family members in California, and to dis' every inhabitant of the State was obviously not my intention. The newest issue of Shotgun News has a great article about all the BS hoops we have to jump through to by AK's in this state and they even showed a Draco with what it takes to be "legal" in this "workers paradise". For about the brazillionth time, if you will simply re-read (or read) the original post, you will determine that if you are not in Texas telling people that they are horrible for not being like southern Californians, then the post does not apply to you. I, too spent way too much of my life in California although it was many decades ago, I don't know what difference that makes toward anything. Otherwise, it was a simple lighthearted attempt at humor, so please quit the whining. If you or anybody else choose to criticize Texans for anything that does not represent me or mine, I promise to not make a whimper. Now, back to the guns?
