JK919 4
What kind of flash hiders are you guys using? I've been considering one of the AIMR ones for authenticity, but what is best at taming the massive fireball?
Zambidis 90
On my Draco a simple A2 gave workable results. I was able to fire it at night without being blinded, there was still a fair amount of flash. On my mini the A2 still resulted in a blinding fireball at night. I plan to try a vortex next. The vortex on my AR works very well. I suspect that a vortex is going to be among the best, if no the best.
WhiskeyMinion 300
As it sits right now. Trying to see how long the cheap red dot holds up. AFG feels so much better. Need to go range test.
HotGuns 9
I made mine a bit different than most. I SBR'ed it then stuck a 7.62 Kestrel on it to tame it.
Zambidis 90
What is your opinion of the Kestrel? The price makes it tempting.
timdp 1
Anyone other than timdp try a Burris Fastfire on their draco? I see Aimpoint's and variations but no Fastfires other than timdp's bullpup in here. I wish it were a Burris Fastfire... Its just a $50 cheapie. Sad to say, I have not even shot it with that sight yet...

jrance@iacwds.com 716
I just love this thread (with the exception of the CA B.S.)! I got a PAP M92PV and am still looking back here for inspiration. Thanks for starting this Guido2! Starting with a 4 piece Krink booster but what next on the SBR route? Great ideas and contributions gentlemen. 1911
richUK 90
Please excuse my ignorance as we dont have an abundance of AK's in the UK but is Draco an actual brand of AK or a nickname given to a short AK?.What would my 104 be classed as in the US, a sbr,Draco or would it qualify as a Krink?. BigChongus 765
An SBR is any rifle with a butt stock and a barrel under 16". A Draco is just a name of an AK pistol. They are made by Cugir in Romania. Depending on the model (mini or regular), the barrels range from 7-11". However, as they don't have a stock, they are not SBRs, and thus do not require a tax stamp. Krinkov (or Krink) is just the nickname for the AKS-74u. A Krinkov is an SBR, as it's barrel is under 16" (8") and has a stock. You're 104 is neither a Krink or a Draco, but it is an SBR (in the States, anyway). veritas_vincit 4
Thanks for explaining that for me, now im in the loop Can you put me in the loop? I thought the UK has some pretty strict firearm laws, as in "you can't have them." How are you able to have firearm like that? Are you in a special category or location?
