IPSC_GUY 3
Holy Crap this thing is long. Has anyone shortened theirs? Mine sticks so far back I have to move my trigger finger around it to get it in the trigger guard. I see a shortening and slip on button of some sort in the future. IPSC_GUY SIERRA II ALPHA Not to worry, it was made long on purpose so that the end user could fit it to their hands. I have mine about 1/2 inch shorter than it came. I put some tape where I wanted to cut it and then checked it several times. After I was sure I just cut it off with a dremel tool then used a sanding drum to smooth it out. If you feel better cutting it off the gun, remove the magwell, use a magnet to draw out the pin by depressing the lever slightly with the magnet on the side where the pin inserts. Should come right out. If you have any more technical questions, give Robert a call at 503-551-7283. Doug
IPSC_GUY 3
Ok that helps as I am gonna take it all apart anyway to paint my mag well to match the rest of the gun. I was wondering how it came apart. IPSC_GUY SIERRA II ALPHA
