Doug Hartley 526
Here is some gun porn for you folks. Robert made a new shotgun for himself to use at the Pan American Shotgun Match in Blue Ridge, Kentucky. He did all the aluminum parts in purple to match our shirts. I haven't seen it person but it looks wild in the photos! Doug

Doug Hartley 526
How much is one of those in red? They look freaken AWESOME!!!!! Great job A full open gun with the extended handguard and a custom anodize color would be about $3,500. Robert keeps a few units out of every run of parts in the white so they can be anodized in color. In addition the steel parts are coated with a ceramic finish that can be ordered in several different colors. You could get really crazy if you wanted to. Here is a link to a site with many of the colors. http://www.usspecialty.com/color.php Doug
AtlSaiga 25
Heh, talk about reviving an old thread. Quick question, whats the deal with that scope base? Its obviously different than the winged burris/doctor mount. It still looks like it mounts to the dovetail which I love, but what type of surface does it have to mount the actual optic itself (ie. what are compatible optics)? That pict shows what looks like an aimpoint t1 or similar. I haven't seen that scope base advertised for sale anywhere - is it available or was it just a one-off piece? Robert made that just for his shotgun to hold the Aimpoint T-1, but he is making a small run of them now, in fact he is making one for me. If you want to get one contact him at 503-551-7283. He makes 2 other dot bases one fits Burris/Doctor scopes the other fits the C-More STS. The base has raised pins to seat the scope, the same as the manufacturer makes. Feel free to call him if you have specific questions. Doug
