regal 2
One could get 6 compliance parts by using USA Mags and keep the stock piston and FCG, would the stock FCG work with the AK config? I would assum being russian it would be superior to the compliance FCG's ?
Rockina 60
I don't believe the original complete FCG can be re-used if the gun is converted/restored.....either way it is NOT a superior to the US made parts.
paprotective 362
How do you get 6 US parts from only 3 from the US made mag?? The factory FCG is Russian.. The quick bet is US Mags and US Handguard.. (Tapco Intrafuse.. like mine with rails.. <<<) The factory hammer would work after configuration change.. the 'linkage' trigger setup would not. Some people swap the HAMMER only for US made and then run US made mags.. (which also makes 4) With NOTHING else changed you need at least 4 US made parts to run anything above 10 round mags. Just a note. With kits only $72 (with coupon) for 5 US 922r compliance parts you'd be silly NOT to convert/restore it. IMHO. Albert
Moe Zambeak 53
The Tapco G2 is the best product they make. Once you polish the contact surfaces, it is pretty light and smooth. The FCG is also the cheapest set of compliance parts. $30 for 3 parts= $10 per part.
chevyman097 2,579
Remember also, its so much about how many "US" parts you have. You also must have 10 or less countable foreign parts.
nalioth 405
Why in the world would you want to keep a 7-piece remote-control fire control group when the 3-piece one works better? Yes, better.
VaiFanatic90 360
Why in the world would you want to keep a 7-piece remote-control fire control group when the 3-piece one works better? Yes, better. I couldn't agree more. If something breaks on your 7-piece setup (God forbid), you're gonna have fun trying to replace all that goodness, or should I say badness. Three parts is a much more efficient way to go.
