Steven Stallings 4
What if your side holes have been welded?
gpqueen 545
What if your side holes have been welded? You can use the top screw and then use the grip nut as the second secure point sitting over the 2 arms.
ViperHummel 3
I ran into the issue where the side screw holes don't line up. I widened one a little bit on the receiver, but it wasn't good enough. Any suggestions? Maybe a style of bit or something to open the hole in an oblong fashion? If the tang is cut flush it should line up. Set the back of the receiver on a table to verify it sits flush and does not wobble. You can then elongate the receiver hole with a file if they still do not line up.
