anonymousbob 0
I was just wandering if there are any differences other than the barrel between the 2 3/4 and 3" chamber models. Thanks
towerofpower93 22
The difference is in the mags, not the firearm. The reason there is a diferent mag for each length has to do with the angle of the shell in relation to the barrel. A member here, Cobra762, makes a wedge that allows you to run 2 3/4 in shells in the 3in mag. I use hem and like how they allow you to use both sizes in one mag. Makes sence why I dould not find any information. If I get 3' mags I can shoot 3 inch shells and vice versa
csspecs 1,987
Correct. Most guns come with both a 2 3/4 inch and 3 inch mag. I've only shot 5 rounds of 3 inch through the one my brother has, I did not find them to bring a lot to the table for the cost. So I have a wedge installed on the 3 inch mag to allow it to use 2 3/4 inch.
Modiano 5
since i only have my 2 factory mags, i mostly shoot 2 3/4" shells from my 3" mag. 2 3/4" buckshot and slugs have been flawless from the 3", but bulk walmart 2 3/4" birdshot fails to feed more often in the 3" mag. when i keep the gun loaded for HD, i use the 2 3/4 mag...just in case
