That they tested it before hand and had a pretty good idea of what they could get away with before such a exhibition? Still pretty hairy and questionable, a deflected round/splinter could wind up in her lower torso/legs. You couldn't get me to hold it. But then again, I watched some vids of some SpecOps guys shooting objects out of others hands. Likely shooting frangible, and they're wearing body armor, but still.
