ACE clamp on front sight

Has anyone tried the ACE clamp on front sight assembly on a 308? They come in two sizes and clamp on the gas block.

I installed two of them several years ago. I recall having to do a little Dremel work on the back end to get the gas tube to fit. I don't think it took too much effort. Make sure your gas block is perfectly aligned and not tilted to one side before putting on the Ace sight. Here are some pics of mine:

Thanks for the response and pictures. I am definately going that route now. I just cut my 22 inch barrel down to 17 inches and had it crowned. Going with YHM flsh-hider/comp.

Very nice....I want to remove my FSB when i do my brake....Does anyone know If the clamp-on will work with the TWS dog leag rail?
